This blog, about  UK Local Government web sites, was started and is run by me,Peter Barton, until recently, Head of Web and Information Governance at Lincolnshire County Council now working as a freelance consultant.

The reason for starting this blog was to comment on issues around public sector web sites with those involved in the business of producing web sites in the public sector across the UK.

The intention is to discuss products, services, legislation etc  which have some bearing on what we do, how we do it and how the results are viewed by the public and those who would measure our success or otherwise..
